• I started my business because custom woodworking has always been where I feel most at home using my hands. I spent years working in EMS, but on the side I was making pieces for my family and friends. That passion eventually led me to a job as the lead craftsman for a custom design company, where I sharpened my skills and learned the industry from the inside. After seeing the level of quality I could bring to custom-built furniture, I decided to branch out and build my own company. This business allows me to combine craftsmanship, honesty, and service in a fulfilling way that keeps me close to home while supporting my family.

• The Ramblin' Closet has done great work keeping goods and clothing out of the trash and into the hands of those that need it most.

🍲 Recipe of the Month: Cozy Chicken & Rice Soup

January is the perfect time for warm, comforting meals that bring everyone back to the table. This simple Chicken & Rice Soup is nourishing, easy to make, and perfect for slow winter evenings.

Ingredients

• 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded

• 1 cup white or brown rice

• 1 tbsp olive oil

• 1 small onion, diced

• 2 carrots, sliced

• 2 celery stalks, sliced

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 8 cups chicken broth

• 1 tsp salt (or to taste)

• ½ tsp black pepper

• ½ tsp dried thyme

• Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

2. Add onion, carrots, and celery; sauté until softened.

3. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.

5. Add rice, reduce heat, and simmer for 15–20 minutes (until rice is tender).

6. Stir in shredded chicken, salt, pepper, and thyme. Simmer 5 more minutes.

7. Serve warm and garnish with parsley if desired.

Bring a little sparkle to your windows this January! Our Winter Suncatchers are the perfect way to welcome the new year with creativity and light. Kids will love making colorful, frosty designs that catch the sunlight—an easy, fun, and festive craft for chilly days indoors.

✨ What You’ll Need:

• Clear contact paper or laminating sheets

• Tissue paper in wintery colors

• Scissors

• Optional: glitter, sequins, or snowflake stickers

How to make it:

1. Let the kids stick the tissue paper and paper shapes onto the sticky contact paper.

2. Add a little glue if needed to secure tiny pieces in the center.
